Turkish Music from a conceptual, dimensional and contextual perspective

Abstract

Turks spread over a wide geography in the historical scene and were influenced by some different musical cultures in these geographies. As a result of these effects, Turkish music culture has reached a rich structure by being fed from many different aspects. This richness has directly affected and changed Turkish Music in terms of identity, concept, content and dimension in the historical process. The aim of the study is to examine Turkish Music from conceptual, dimensional and contextual aspects and to analyze its change in the context of identity. Within the scope of the compilation study, which was prepared with the aim of creating a conceptual framework, the change of Turkish Music from the past to the present has been discussed and information with its different aspects has been given.
