Depolama Politikasi

Türk Müziği (TM) is an open access journal (freely accessible online, with clearly stated reuse conditions).
Authors publishing in TM retain the right to make their articles publicly available under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license.

Author Reuse Guidelines

The Repository Policy (or author self-archiving) explains how authors may make their published journal articles available online, such as in institutional repositories.
TM has adopted the following principles:

  • Only the publisher’s final version and the online published (Published Version) may be used.
The author’s accepted version and submitted (pre-print) version are not permitted and are under embargo.

  • Embargo policy:

    • Pre-print version — embargoed.

    • Accepted version — embargoed.

    • Published Version — no embargo, may be deposited immediately.

  • When open-access articles are shared, distributed, or reused, the original publication source must be cited, and accurate bibliographic details provided.
Authors should also include the article’s URL or DOI.

  • Permitted repositories and websites:

    • Institutional repositories of universities or nonprofit research bodies.

    • Websites of research-funding organizations supporting the study.

    • The author’s personal website(s).

    • Non-commercial online thesis repositories.

    • Academic or social networking platforms such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu, Mendeley, and Google Scholar.

  • Usage conditions:
The copyright holder must be acknowledged in all shared or archived versions, e.g.
    “© 2025 Türk Müziği ”

  • TM encourages authors to share the Published Version of their work, provided that all conditions are met.
The journal applies no embargo on personal or academic repository submissions and actively supports them.
For example, an article related to Turkish music education may be uploaded online to the ERIC Index (ERIC Grantee and Online Submission System) by the author.
