An innovation in genres of music studies: music performance article

Abstract

Easing the two-way difficulties of music researchers in both performance and academic writing will also increase academic products in this field. In this study, the definition, necessity, importance, sections and points to be considered regarding the writing of the Music Performance Article, which was discussed for the first time at the International Rast Music Congress and whose framework was drawn by me, are discussed. Separating this article type from the review type article will ensure its difference and originality. In this respect, the researcher must provide evidence regarding aspects such as the originality and effectiveness of the article and the performance. In order to develop this type of article, it is important to carefully examine the products provided by music researchers and take their suggestions into consideration.
