Price Policy

Manuscripts submitted to the Turk Muzigi academic journal are taken into the pre-review stage. The pre-review is carried out by the editorial board. Articles that do not have the necessary permissions, that receive an unfavorable plagiarism report, or that fall outside the scope of the journal are rejected. Subsequently, the Article Review Process begins, which involves at least two reviewers and is conducted in a blind manner. A decision to publish is made for those who are successful in the review process.

All articles published in Turk Muzigi are open access and made freely available online immediately upon publication. This is made possible through an Article Processing Charge (APC) that covers the publishing services we provide. These services include providing online tools for editors and authors, reviewer and editor progress payments, article copyediting, production and hosting, layout editing, communication with abstracting and indexing services, and customer support.

As an ethical requirement, the Article Processing Charge must be paid by the author at the time the manuscript is uploaded to the journal management system. No editorial evaluation or peer-review process is initiated without payment. This payment does not imply that the submitted manuscript will certainly be published; it is solely related to the article processing procedure.

In accordance with the resolution adopted by the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK) at its General Assembly on March 3, 2019, an article published in Turk Muzigi may be used in associate professorship applications (declarations), as the journal meets the criterion of “journals that charge a fee at the time of application regardless of acceptance or rejection.”
