Abstract

With the modernization of the young generation in Turkey, adherence to traditions and focusing on artists representing traditional culture, which constitute an important vision in society, are increasing day by day. One of the most important art figures of this increase and focus is a woman. In the changing historical adventure of women's movements in Turkish society, it is important to investigate the changes and perspectives in women's identity since the past by examining the social role of women more. In this study, the works of the Turkish world poet Veysel Şatıroğlu, in which he left important traces and messages from our traditional culture to our modernization process, the value and perspective he gave to women in the universal worldview were also investigated as a topic worth studying, as it will make an important contribution to our young generation. Together with this research, due to the lack of research on the value and importance of women in our country, the goals are aimed at revealing the feelings that the poet attributed to women during the years he lived through his own heart, which he passed on to future generations, revealing the place of women's themes in gender and how they affect societies. The themes of women in the poems of our Turkish poet, which he conveyed to our modern world with unity, togetherness, homeland, nation and human love without seeing the eyes, only with the eye of the heart, were examined. In the research, depending on the qualitative research method, women's themes were analyzed from a somantic point of view within the descriptive method depending on the discourse analysis. According to the current data, documents of a total of 173 poems of our poet, which have not appeared until now, have also been identified in the sampling method. With the access to all the poetry documents, the women's themes of 122 poems were analyzed and classified in themes such as emigration, beauty, love, mystical love, separation, loyalty, motherhood, and the verses pointing to the importance of women in the social role of the future were clarified. As a result of this study, it is seen that the world poet, who makes important determinations with his eye that does not see nature in all his poems, reflects it on his works by depicting a lover, mother, daughter or a woman as if he sees only a lover, a mother, a daughter or a woman without seeing his poems again. Together with this study, the female figures in all of Poet Veysel's poems have been based on social role theories. In the results, our poet proves that he is a world poet by clearly stating that Turkish society should be united and united socially in order to take firm steps towards the future in terms of gender, emphasizing the negative sides of social life, that women are a special and aesthetic being, and that man has equality from creation, with his poems. With this study, it is envisaged that it can create an important resource for research on the importance of guff in composing techniques, the place of women in art or the position of women in gender and perspectives on women in social status.
