ADance genre in piano works of Azerbaijani composers editing features

Dance music is not only the oldest genre of world art, but also embodied in the works of composers as a dynamically developing genre. The embodiment of dance in the composer's music manifested itself in various directions, including the development of instrumental music, and entered a new stage of development. The presented research has been carried out regarding the embodiment of the dance genre in piano music and its direct presence in the creativity of Azerbaijani composers. The main purpose here is to reveal the main forms of practice of the dance genre in the piano works of Azerbaijani composers and to illuminate the new qualities acquired by them. Almost all genres of piano music are represented in the works of Azerbaijani composers. In this sense, the manifestation methods and scope of dance also differ according to the genres. The dance genre embodies its essence with the liquors that combine in two groups. One of these groups was formed about dances peculiar to the peoples of the world, and the other about national dances. In the works of Azerbaijani composers there are waltz, tarantella, barcarola, tango, polka, etc. The dances were performed in small miniatures composed for piano. Among the national dances, composers turned to “Gaytagi”, “Yallı”, “Azerbaijan”, “Cengi” and other folk dances, creating original works, including numerous adaptations. In addition, many miniatures with the word dance in their names, brought together aspects arising from the character of the work. Dance plays by Azerbaijani composers also show programs about certain images. These miniatures are mostly featured in TV series composed for children. Especially such dances were included in the piano series of F. Amirov, T. Guliyev, G. Garayev and other composers. In the article, dance-related works are classified in certain groups according to their main aspects. The manifestation methods of the programmability factor are also specially studied.
