Interview with Aluş Nuş and Başkim Çabrat in the city of Prizren, Kosovo, about their contributions to Balkan Turkish Music

Abstract

We had an interview with Aluş Nuş and Başkim Çabrat, who have contributed to the preservation and development of Turkish music in Prizren, one of the seven cities of Kosovo. This interview is important in terms of understanding the efforts made for the survival and development of Turkish music outside the borders of Turkey. In the interview, the musicians discussed their interest in music, the development of their musical talents, the challenges they faced in this process, the role of the Balkan Turkish Music Association, and the books and works they have published.
