About the Journal
Turkish Music Journal is a peer-reviewed, quarterly publication in Turkish. The journal’s aim is to examine Turkish music through interdisciplinary, analytical, and data-driven approaches. Its scope includes research on the theoretical, practical, and descriptive aspects of Turkish music, employing data-based methodologies in intercultural, interfaith, and international contexts (for example, the Balkans and Turkic World countries). Studies on Ottoman music are also within the scope of our journal.
Note: The translation of articles by international authors into Turkish is supported by our editorial board.
